BMX Program
Welcome to the site for the Coach Sully BMX Program
About Me
Being a Coach for BMX is sort of new to me; however I have been supporting my son over the past 3 years. The track operator saw how I helped my son and other riders at Catamount BMX and asked me if I would like to go through the coaching program and be assigned to Catamount BMX track. Here we are now, I am the assigned USA BMX Coach for Catamount BMX Track in Vermont. I am currently working on getting a BMX Racing League setup for the 2024 season and bringing in additional coaches and trainers to provide support for riders. The main goal for becoming a coach is to support riders of all ages young and old, I also encourage kids and young adults get into sport. I continue to race, but I focus more on supporting the riders that are either on the VT PAK Squad, or at the tracks. It does not matter your age or skill, get on the two wheels and have some fun.
With this program, I hope to get more riders of all ages into the sport of BMX. I have been working on building up some inventory to support riders with flat tires or bent rims. I was able to acquire a 14' x 6.5' enclosed trailer to help haul the bikes and equipment to the different tracks. Some of the dreams I have for the program are:> To have enough loaner bikes at Catamount BMX track so when ever any rider shows up that either has an unsafe bike or no bike at all can still have the chance to ride. Between the T.O. and others we are started to build up a nice inventory, but still need loaner bikes.> Extra protection gear for new riders or people looking into the sport.> Start up a BMX racing league at Catamount BMX track to help introduce new riders to the sport.> Either acquire a 15 passenger van or small bus to be able to take riders to other tracks that normally are not able to.> Start a partnership with local bike shops or open a pro shop at Catamount BMX track. That is just the tip of the iceberg, but as I get more support and donors the sky is the limit for these riders.Reach out to me with the contact form and I will get back to you.

Thank you for considering to be a sponsor and donate to the Coach Sully BMX Program. I am the assigned USA BMX coach for the Catamount BMX racetrack in Bennington, VT.My family and I became interested in BMX three years ago when our son fell in love with the sport. After our son started to race our little girl decided to race as a strider rider and will soon be on her pedal bike. After I lost over two hundred and fifty pounds, my kids pushed me to race as well. I also became interested in how I could help the local children who are currently racing and to spread awareness that the Catamount BMX Racetrack is the only BMX track in Vermont, which is right here in Bennington! I started to lay the groundwork for a great BMX program for the Bennington area, by opening connections with local bike shops, and Vet/X Pros to begin the talks of clinics and camps at the track. At the beginning of the 2022 season my brother-in-law Bob asked my son, and daughter to join a national the team PAK (Parent and Kids) BMX Racing Team. During this process, Bob and I ended up starting the Vermont Squad for PAK and we currently have more than 25 riders ranging in age from four years old to fifty years old and from NY, MA, CT, NH, and VT!I assist with promoting the VT Squad's social media, organizing at the larger races we attend, completing all the gear ordering for our squad under the guidance of the PAK Team Manager, help with the mechanical issues for riders, and that is just the beginning. I also enjoy organizing our MovieStyle Popcorn fundraisers, helping local riders with basic bike repairs, and families with finding bikes and equipment for their children. I have fallen in love with more than just the sport of BMX, moreover the awesome people we have met during this epic journey! As with all sports, each year, there are many expenses that come with being a coach, being on a BMX team, and traveling. Some of the expenses are, office supplies, tools, training equipment, transportation, etc. This year my family and I have traveled to Tampa, FL for the Gator Nationals, Lexington, SC, Horseheads, NY, Pittsburg, PA just to name a few. The remaining location for the 2023 season is Hagerstown Maryland for the Northeast Gold Cup Championships.I am asking if you and/or your business would be willing to sponsor The Coach Sully BMX Program? With a one-time yearly sponsorship (Click the Sponsor Detail Button for additional information on sponsor tiers), funds will go towards supporting the Catamount BMX track, trailer to help haul equipment, team supplies, and to ensure other families are able to attend State races, Gold Cup races, and National races. If you can sponsor and donate funds to the Coach Sully BMX Program, I would proudly advertise your business’s logo on the 6’x14’ enclosed trailer. This trailer will be towed to all tracks that my family and other BMX riders will be attending this year. Not only will your business logo be on the trailer, but there will also be a QR code with either your contact information or link to your website. I will also do social media advertisements of your business on the Coach Sully BMX Facebook Page. Together we will spread awareness of your business while helping kids and parents reach the goals, they set for themselves!Contact Coach Sully by filling out the contact form if you have any questions about the program.Thank you,
Coach Aaron “Sully” Sullivan
